Aligning with Earth and Sky

December 2022-December 2023

An Nature Centered Embodiment Project exploring the Solar Seasons and the 13 Lunar Cycles of the Year.

I invite you here deep into the mystery to explore the integration of Yoga and the Cycles of Nature. The Earth and her sweet satellite, the Moon, patiently wait for you to hear her song, her dance, her magic and to help you discover the beauty of practicing in harmony with her. Deep healing occurs here as you reconnect with the sacred, improving your mental health and wellbeing on many levels. The past few years have reminded us of the importance of slowing down, finding harmony and grace and may have left us feeling a bit bereft of connection. Let this be a journey home.

What’s included:

* A digital file with a 13-Lunar cycle weekly planner with all of the moon phases for 2023, recipes and suggestions for herbal teas and tinctures, bath salts and shower scrubs and energy cleansing blends for each moon, a 2023 dated weekly planner to record important information, meditation and yoga reflection pages as well as pages to record card readings and journeys. Helpful ideas and suggestions for small observances, crafty things and recipes that you can use to harmonize with the seasons. You can print the pages that you wish as many as you will need throughout the year.

* Weekly yoga classes, both live on Zoom and recorded for you to practice with as you like, oriented and created to harmonize with the season and the Moon to help you connect deeply with each phase and integrate it into your practice.

* Virtual Meditation session for each New Moon and a Monthly Virtual lifestyle class and Ceremony to celebrate the Full Moon.

* A regularly scheduled opportunity to enjoy your birthright, an enchanted connection to the natural world and our Earth Mother.

“ Life goes in a circle, from birth to death to rebirth. Humans, like the seasons, pass through many phases during their lives. The moons of the Medicine Wheel give us a way of understanding and celebrating these changes. The Moon during which you were born determines your starting point on the wheel." - Sun Bear

Please fill out the following form to register for this 4 Seasons and 13-Moons experience. I look forward to taking this journey with you.

Yoga Training Testimonials

"I could not have asked for a better foundation for my teacher training - or a more generous guide on my journey - than Candy Evans and Laughing Buddha. Not only did she offer a comprehensive training of styles of practice and depth of history, but her decades of experience are priceless. I look forward to taking advantage of every opportunity I can to continue learning from her."

- Lil H.

"Candy's training was amazing. I had taken several yoga classes with Candy prior to my training, so I was familiar with her style and personality somewhat, but I had no idea how knowledgeable she was before. She really did an awesome job allowing me to learn about and experience all the different aspects of yoga leaving me thirsty to explore more on my own. As COVID caused us to do a good portion of the training virtually, I did not feel my education suffered, as Candy did a great job keeping us engaged and connecting with us live online. I highly recommend this training to anyone who is interested in learning from someone with many years of experience, a friendly and funny personality, and a wealth of knowledge in anatomy and all things yoga. What an experience this was."

- Caity S -

"Candy is a creative and wonderful lab partner. Candy's yoga teacher training is an active experiment of the body, mind and soul. I highly recommend her and the Laughing Buddha Yoga school."

"Laughing Buddha Yoga’s teacher training program was exemplary. The owner, Candy, is knowledgeable, passionate, flexible, hard-working, and entertaining. She made the course fun as she imparted important skills. She was also able to adapt to an ever-changing environment as we worked through the pandemic. Highly recommend this program!"

- Gwen B.

"Even in the midst of a pandemic, my instructor was always concerned about our wellbeing. Our meetings were no less informative, in fact, I believe she opened the door to make me more curious about yoga. There was so much content but she created an atmosphere that invited us to continue learning."
